1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Moon Companion website, member portal, digital content, subscriptions and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a free trial, purchasing a subscription or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service. Mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country or region are not excluded by these Terms.

2. Moon Companion membership

Moon Companion is a digital membership designed to help you engage with lunar cycles through daily Moon guidance, card readings, reflective practices, journaling features, reminders and other personalised experiences available inside the member portal.

Features may evolve over time as the Service is improved. We may add, update, replace or retire features where reasonably necessary, provided this does not remove rights you have under applicable law.

3. Free trial and recurring subscriptions

Eligible new customers may receive a 14-day free trial. The free trial is limited to one trial per customer. Attempting to obtain additional trials by changing payment provider, email address or other account details may result in the additional trial being refused.

Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your selected subscription will begin automatically and the applicable subscription price will be charged through your selected payment provider.

• Monthly membership: US$9.99 per month, or the equivalent price shown at checkout in your selected supported currency.
• Annual membership: US$99 per year, or the equivalent price shown at checkout in your selected supported currency.
• Your checkout page will show the amount, currency, billing interval and any applicable trial before you confirm.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time using the subscription controls available in your Moon Companion account, where available, or by contacting us through the support options provided on the website or in your account.

If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged for the next subscription period. If you cancel after a paid subscription has begun, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and you may continue to use the Service until that period ends, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

5. Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may not sell, transfer or share access to your account in a way that bypasses the intended membership model.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes;
• attempt to interfere with the security, availability or normal operation of the Service;
• reverse engineer, scrape or systematically copy protected content except where permitted by law;
• upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access to another person's account;
• use the Service to violate the rights of Moon Companion or any third party.

7. Intellectual property

The Moon Companion brand, software, design, written content, graphics, practices, guidance and other original materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service for your own personal use.

No ownership rights are transferred to you by purchasing a subscription.

8. Astrology, spiritual and wellbeing content

Moon Companion provides reflective, educational and spiritual wellbeing content. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice.

You remain responsible for your own decisions and should seek qualified professional support where appropriate.

9. Payments and third-party providers

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Razorpay or PayPal. Their services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices. Moon Companion does not require your full card details to be stored in the Moon Companion website or member portal.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Moon Companion available and reliable, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, updates, security work, internet outages or third-party service issues may occasionally affect access.

11. Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of fraud, non-payment, abuse, a security risk, serious violation of these Terms, or where required by law. Where appropriate, we will try to give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Moon Companion is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service, our business practices or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably required.
